Spike Valance Cthulhu Mythos - Thrall of Gzxtyos (Lesser Servitor Race)

The Thralls of Gzxtyos are simply transmogrified humans that serve the cycloptic Great Old Ones Othuyeg and Gzxtyos, mainly the latter one. A human turns into a thrall if sleeps in proximity of the two Great Old Ones' lair, where the dark "sky-stone" of theirs is located. It is just an extrasolar black comet, sort of "sidereal" vessel which Othuyeg and his bride have arrived on Earth million years ago.

A Thrall of Gzxtyos appears either as a miniature of the two Great Old Ones (i.e. a tentacled eye) or a human being endowed with tentacles and a large eye piercing the body. The latter form is portrayed here.

The name Gzxtyos features for the first time in Crispin Burnham's "People of the Monolith: Stone of Death" (1997) and again in a more recent Lovecraftian story of Philip Roberts, "The Gemstone from Out of Space" (2011).

Yeah, I think so. You should read Lovecraft's "The Mound" to know more. Gzxtyos is instead mentioned in a fanzine known as Cthulhu Cultus. The novel is "The People of the Monolith".

Well, that's the way a Great Old One should look, isn't it?

Or would you prefer a...furry anthro with emo hairlocks? ;p

*That is more disturbing indeed* :o
