The cancerous mass of unconceivable horror born from eldritch imagination of Ramsey Campbell ("The Tugging") and one of the few Great Old Ones having sort of a "fan service" in American comics too. Maybe fewer know that M'nagalah has another cult title, "Master of Tethys", mentioned in Joseph Pulver's "Nightmare's Disciple". Connection with the ocean before Proto-Mediterranean??
If so could Etruscan Piacenza's Liver be regarded as a cult idol of this dark god? I think so but this is another story...
